Sonoma Designers Showcase

But by far the biggest challenge was designing the showcase magazine that highlighted the designers, contributors and estate. (That proved a bit tricky photographically given that the house was being built right up to the day before the event.) Working as a team with IDS representatives I moved forward and designed the magazine based on the estate and how visitors would move through the rooms. It acted as a road map for visitors and showcased designers in context of the room the visitor found themselves in. All design, production, advertising design, copy and printer coordination fell to me.

The Interior Design Society (IDS) of America held a showcase estate event at Fox Hill Estate in Kenwood in May of 2011. The event raised money for local programs and drew attention to participating interior designers in Sonoma County. The event  needed a chapter brand and event identity, along with an event magazine and advertising.
